God is good!

Hello dear friends,
I just wanted to let all of you know (if you don't already), that Liz is feeling MUCH better the past few weeks and it looks like the morning sickness is over! Praise the Lord! She lost a total of 20 pounds, but has now started to gain normally. We can't thank you enough for all the prayers you have prayed for her. They were truly felt! We feel very loved and taken care of!
We found out that we are having a baby GIRL!! God is so good and we are just waiting to see what He has for us each day.

Urgent- EuroCon is right around the corner!

Dear friends,
I am writing to you again because the response to the first letter was not what we were hoping. We have only been able to raise $210 - and we are very thankful to those who already gave! But we need at least another $500 minimum.
Please, consider helping us get two of our key disciples to this conference! It's so important that they can be encouraged by the global Body of Christ! So please, give generously and joyfully!
Again, we are so thankful to those who have given already and we value your love and support so much!
God bless you,

Roger & Liz Robbins

Please, help send our Turks to EuroCon!

Hello dear friends and supporters,
It is that time of year again when we will have our annual European Conference in Budapest, starting March 15. In the past, we have always had a small group of Turks attend. It proves to be a life changing time for them every time in each individual life! This year, we have two young Turkish disciples that we would like to have go to Eurocon - Alp (in the picture with Roger) and Erhan (in the picture with P.Matti). Alp has been before and has been looking forward to it for the whole year. Erhan has never been before and is very excited to be able to experience what its like to be surrounded by hundreds of believers just like him, hearing the Word daily, and being edified by the Holy Spirit's presence.
We are asking you to help support these two men of God in any way you can. We need money to cover their hotel ($125 each), their registration ($15 each), their airfare ($250 each), and food. If you can help with ANY of these areas, please do. I cannot stress enough how important this conference can be in their lives of faith. These are two of our key disciples. They have all their paperwork in order and are just waiting for God to do a miracle!
If you would like to help, please let me know so that we can start to plan for their trips. I know it is short notice and I apologize for that - there has been alot going on and we are not as organized as we should be. But God is greater than us and we are trusting that He will touch your hearts to give as you have in the past, with generosity and joy.
Thank you so much for your love, prayers, and support. God bless you!

Change is in the air...

Hello dear friends,
Sorry that we have not been more in touch. I know many of you heard that Liz was in the hospital. But let me start with the good news. Liz is pregnant! She is in her 7th week. The moment we landed in Istanbul was the moment everything started to deteriorate. She did not stop throwing up for four days, which was when we decided to go to the hospital. She spent three long tortuous nights there but was under excellent supervision and tender care of many sweet Turkish nurses. She has a severe form of morning sickness that only affects 3-5% of pregnant women. There was no way of knowing this would happen to a young healthy girl like Liz and the timing of it is uncanny as well...
So, we decided to leave the hospital this morning when she seemed to be improving a little bit. We have made the big decision to fly back home to Baltimore tomorrow morning. As some of you may know, Maryland offers free healthcare to pregnant women for those who qualify. So based on financial reasons, we think it's wise to head back as soon as possible so that we don't waste more money here on her treatment. We really value all the love and prayers - they were really felt and needed.
Please continue to pray for Liz and also for some big upcoming decisions that are looming. Roger will be returning to Istanbul for a period of time to be here with P. Matti and will also be going to EuroCon. We are unsure how long he will stay there and of course we don't like to be separated at a time like this. But we feel very taken care of and are trusting God for the amazing things He has in store for the Robbins family!
